Hey. Can I just say, OH MY FRIGGIN GAWD I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW! Okay, breathe, Peyt. Breathe. The event that I’ve been waiting for for months finally happened and I… I don’t even know what to say. *rolls around*
Okay, on to the awesome bands of Bazooka Rocks II!
Before I saw the band line-up for Bazooka Rocks II, I didn’t know this band. I checked their songs out on YouTube and they’re pretty cool. I used to be a big fan of Paramore way back in high school and I think Tonight Alive could be as good or maybe even better! That’s my opinion. :)
We Came As Romans
I liked this band but I didn’t really find myself crazy about them… until last night. Kyle Pavone. Oh god. I can’t even explain how gorgeous he is. Since I don’t watch music videos all the time, I can’t always remember the faces of the bands I listen to but I’ve etched Kyle’s sexiness in my mind now, for sure.
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
If there is one word to describe this band, it would be "nostalgic". I’ve been a fan since high school and getting to watch them perform live and sing my favorite songs just made me feel so happy! We all sang along to "Your Guardian Angel" and it gave me such a nice feeling. Add the bubbles (it was prolly kinda girly but I’m a girl so I kinda liked it) and it was one of the most unforgettable live performances I’ve seen so far. Head banging to their songs was not even a bit exhausting. *grins cheekily*
I first heard of this band during my freshman year in college. I was kind of disappointed that they didn’t perform their good old songs and played newer ones. I only knew two songs asdfghjkl;
All Time Low
What can I say? Is "crazy" the appropriate word for this? I don’t think so! It was beyond crazy! It was out of this world! I got pushed, stepped on, and my hair got stuck at some point but it was all worth it! The crowd went wild when it was All Time Low's turn to play. Them kids are crazy these days! I wouldn't blame them though because the band's just too awesome. Good thing I didn't lose my voice from singing my heart out. I find the bra drop really amusing and their jokes were funny too. Yeah, I kind of enjoy green jokes. Kind of? Hmm. Yeah, just nod away. Aaaand, I am proud to say that I can now cross out "meet All Time Low" from my bucket list. Woohoo!
A Rocket To The Moon
*cries* I still can’t believe they’re breaking up! ARTTM is one of the main reasons why I had to fly to Manila and go to the event. As cheesy as this might sound, their songs have helped me through tough times in my life. Whenever I listen to their songs, I can feel my heart smile. HAHAHA. Ok, too much? Lol. On a serious note, when a band that you really love "breaks up", you just can’t miss the chance of watching them live for (possibly) the last time. When they started playing "Like We Used To", I’m pretty sure I saw some girls cry. Raise your hands if you’re one of ‘em! I almost did… but I didn’t because I was too happy that I got to see most of my favorite bands in one day. ;)
I don’t even know how I could get over this. Bazooka Rocks II, thank you. All the standing and my feet hurting were all so worth it and I would never ever forget this awesome experience… ever!!! Can we please have cool concerts here in Cebu so I won’t have to spend all my money on plane tickets? Hahaha.
